Hello, My name is Kathie Currie & I’m the owner and operator of The Country Florist. My staff & I have over 25 years of designing experience. We are all just a little "old fashioned" we believe in "Service". Our customers are very special to us. Many are friends & acquaintances & neighbors from years gone by.

We specialize in fresh & permanent floral designs that are unique and beautiful. Our cut flowers are purchased direct from the grower insuring longer lasting & more vibrant flowers.

We belong to the Rifle Chamber Of Commerce and Silt Chamber Of Commerce. We contribute to the local non-profit organizations: New Castle Lions Club, Silt Lions Club, Rifle Grand River hospital Volunteeers, Rifle Snowmobile Club, Cactus Valley PTA, Summit Preschool, Rifle Relay For Life, Little Britches Rodeo, Silt Hey Days, New Castle Burning Mountain Days, and many other local organizations and events.

Our shop is open from 9:00 a.m. to 5:00 p.m., Monday through Friday and from 9:00 a.m. to 1:00 p.m. on Saturday.

We are closed on Sunday. We can do special occasions. Contact us for information.


To help assure on-time delivery during the busy holiday season, place your order at least 24 hours prior to the following major holidays: Thanksgiving Day, Christmas Day, New Year's Day, Valentine's Day, Easter, Administrative Professionals Week, Mother's Day, Memorial Day, Father's Day, Independence Day and Labor Day.

The Country Florist delivers to all Garfield County Buildings. Our shope delivers to all local schools. A local delivery fee of $8.00 will be added to each order, for each address. (For deliveries outside our local delivery area, this fee may vary.)

U.S. orders must be received before 12:00 p.m. in the recipient's time zone to help assure same-day delivery. Orders received after that time will be delivered the following day.

We will do our best to accommodate deliveries at a specific time of day, but we cannot guarantee it.

We will be happy to accept your international orders if you call our shop directly. We are unable to accept international orders over the internet.

We deliver to local funeral homes in Glenwood Springs and Rifle. Deliveries are made no later than 1 hour prior to the service so as not to interfere with the funeral proceedings

Occasionally, substitutions may be necessary to create your bouquet due to the availability of certain flowers in various parts of the country. Care is taken to maintain the style, theme and color scheme of the arrangement, using flowers of equal value. Additionally, the substitution of certain keepsake items may be necessary due to increased demand, especially during major holidays. In single-flower arrangements, such as an all rose bouquet, or orchids, we will make every attempt to match the flower type, but may substitute with another color.

If you open an account on our site or make a purchase, we need your contact information including your name, e-mail address and mailing address to complete your transaction.
